Biography

Bnar Kareem is a passionate lecturer and researcher in financial accounting. She has been part of the University of Salahaddin, College of Administration and Economics, since 2011, where she has dedicated herself to teaching and mentoring students.After completing her Master of Science in Accounting in 2016, she began teaching accounting principles to first-year students. Over the years, her passion for teaching and commitment to her field has led her to grow as an academic, earning her promotion to lecturer.Bnar’s research interests revolve around financial and accounting reporting, corporate governance, and how accounting standards shape business performance. She has published numerous articles in local and international journals, contributing meaningful insights to the field.Outside of the classroom and research, she enjoys working with students on their projects, encouraging them to think critically and develop a deeper understanding of finance and accounting. She also remains actively involved in conferences and professional training programs to keep up with the ever-evolving world of accounting and finance.Outside of academia, Bnar enjoys reading about economic trends, exploring new financial technologies, and promoting financial literacy in her community.
